Instructions:
- Prepare Your Work Area:
- Clean and sanitize your work surface and utensils.
- Measure Ingredients:
- Measure out the beeswax pellets, coconut oil, and shea butter.
- Double Boiler Method:
- In a heatproof bowl or the top part of a double boiler, combine the beeswax, coconut oil, and shea butter.
- Melt Ingredients:
- Gently melt the ingredients over low to medium heat. Stir occasionally until everything is fully melted and well combined.
- Optional Essential Oils:
- If you’re using essential oils for fragrance, add a few drops to the mixture and stir well.
- Pour into Containers:
- Carefully pour the melted mixture into lip balm containers or small jars. Be cautious as the mixture will be hot.
- Cool and Set:
- Allow the lip balm to cool and solidify. This can take a couple of hours.
- Label and Store:
- Once the lip balm has completely set, label your containers with the date and flavor (if you added essential oils).
- Store your lip balm in a cool, dry place.
